    Default Rotation animation

Hi, I was checking the Korea Herald example and being in the process of determining the correct approach for a future mobile app, I was wondering how is that rotation animation done? when I make a very simple viewport, compile it with phonegap and rotate it the only thing I get is the app resizing in a very strange way, but no animation. Any ideas?

PD: I also tried to compile via the sencha sdk tools, but it never finished complaining about a missing icon.

You can use CSS3 transition/transform to rotate elements.

You can't really animate anything on orientation change. The results will always be not very appealing.

Well, I was just trying to emulate what is shown in the video about the new 2.0 performance, but to my surprise, not even the kitchensink, as is stated in that article, does the animation shown in the video.

That animation is done by the device browser it's self. We have no control over that; it just happens automatically.

The video is just the Kitchen Sink example; there is nothing else special about it. As I say, it varies from device-to-device.
