    Question Can I use IE edge with ExtJS?

    I want to use
    Code:
    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1">
    Will it cause any problems?

    Please don't post the same question to multiple forums.

    Not sure how that meta tag will be recognized - you could run one of the examples with that and see what 'ie..' classes it applies to BODY.

    I use that in my intranet apps. It sets the document mode to the highest supported mode of IE. watch out for compatability mode issues (the browser mode will be different). For example: with IE8 if you use the meta tag the docMode will be 8 and the browser will be identified as IE7 if compatibility mode is on. This can cause issues if you're not expecting it. There are other posts that show how to fix this specific type of issue. So, yes it will work.
