I would like to announce the release of Ext.ux.Livegrid 0.3RC1.
The release contains several bugfixes and introduces build tools to create minified and compressed versions of the Ext.ux.Livegrid scripts.
Due to changes in the way the specific renderer of the column model get called, plugins like the Ext.grid.RowNumberer can now be used without any problems.
This release is feature complete so far. New features will be available in 0.4.
Changelog is available on the first page.
Cool, I installed it and so far it works Ok.
As I've tested the RC1 there are no bugs in. But theres a behaviour that I cannot understand. If you refresh the grid by clicking on the button in toolbar or by code directly, the grid always gets on top. So if you are browsing let's say between records 1300 and 1340 and you confirm some changes in the database you want to reload the grid at that position at that it is currently. But as I have mentioned the grid always gets on top and you are not able to control this behaviour.
First, Am I right with that note?
Second, is this behaviour known? Are there any plans to implement a config option for the behaviour of the button in toolbar and a method to call by code maybe in 0.4?
Row positions depend heaviliy on the version property which will be supported in one of the next releases. Basically, the grid will be very strict regarding the version property, so that as much data consistency as possible can be guaranteed.
Which means: Row positions will be restored after a reload, if, and only if the version property did not change.
Seems to be exactly that what I am looking for. Sounds really interesting. I'll be waiting for 0.4 . 0.3 RC1 semms to work properly, so far
You're not registering xtypes for this, aren't you?
