Thread: "Show in Groups" checkbox is checked when the grid is not grouped

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-5252 in a recent build.

Default "Show in Groups" checkbox is checked when the grid is not grouped

    Ext version tested:
    • 4.0.7
    • 4.1.0-beta-2

    Browser versions tested against:
    • FF9
    • IE9

    Description:
    • If the grid is using the grouping feature, the "Show in Groups" checkbox in the column menu is always checked after the initial render, even if the grid/store is not currently grouped.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Use the Grouping example (\examples\grid\groupgrid.html)
    • In the groupgrid.js file, comment out the groupField config option:
      • Code:
        //        groupField: 'cuisine',

    • Refresh the page and open the column menu.

    The result that was expected:
    • The "Show in Groups" checkbox is unchecked

    The result that occurs instead:
    • The "Show in Groups" checkbox is checked (see attached screenshot)

This looks like an issue that was fixed in ExtJS 3: FIXED-906
