    Default Answered: Ext.data.Operation

    Hello Everyone,
    I am currently migrating from PR3->PR4. In PR3 this code used to work

    Code:
        getCurrentStore : function()
        {
            var operation = new Ext.data.Operation({
                action: 'read',
                model: 'Kessler.model.StoreModel'
            });
            this.read( operation, this.readCompleteHandler , this);
        },

        readCompleteHandler:function(result) {
            if (result.resultSet.records.length > 0 ) {
                this.currentStore = result.resultSet.records[0];
            }
            this.fireEvent( "success" , this.currentStore );
        }
    It doesn't anymore and I believe the reason is because there is no "resultSet" property on the result object. However, when stepping through the stack, I can see that the result object has a getRecords function as well as others. These get functions aren't listed in the API http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2-0/#!/...data.Operation , is there a reason as to why ? I just want to avoid going down an unapproved API path to just to have it shuttered in the future.

    Thanks,
    Ubu

  2. In PR4 the data package got some love to it but since we are in beta the API should be pretty calm now. Some changes may still happen but hopefully won't be any big changes.
