Thread: [4.1b2] Column layout from "Layouts & Cts" guide barfs

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-5314 in a recent build.

    Default [4.1b2] Column layout from "Layouts & Cts" guide barfs

    Test case (taken from the "Layouts and Containers" guide):
    Code:
    Ext.create('Ext.panel.Panel', {
        renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
        width: 400,
        height: 200,
        title: 'Container Panel',
        layout: 'column',
        items: [
            {
                xtype: 'panel',
                title: 'Child Panel 1',
                height: 100,
    //          columnWidth: .5, // this works
                width: '50%'     // this causes ~1px width
            },
            {
                xtype: 'panel',
                title: 'Child Panel 2',
                height: 100,
    //          columnWidth: .5, // this works
                width: '50%'     // this causes ~1px width
            }
        ]
    });
    Tested on Chrome 17, Safari 5.1.3 and Firefox 10.

    The guide's example might be faulty
    -- the docs for column layout state
    The width property is always evaluated as pixels, and must be a number greater than or equal to 1. The columnWidth property is always evaluated as a percentage, and must be a decimal value greater than 0 and less than 1 (e.g., .25).
