Default Unanswered: Scroller can't handle CSS-Transformed content ?

I have successfully implemented CSS3 based pinch to zoom for an image that lies inside a scrollable panel with an hbox layout.

Unfortunately, the scroller doesn't recognize that the image component inside it did expand, so I can't scroll to the image's edges, because they're out of the scroller's bounds.

It kind of works when - instead of using CSS3 scale transforms - I change the pixel-width of the image, but that looks unacceptably sluggish and clunky on the iPad.

Is there a workaround to get the scroller recognize that its inner items have been scaled?

    Thanks
