Thread: Resizing Designer does not accurately update films

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for DSGNR-1425 in a recent build.

Default Resizing Designer does not accurately update films

I'm not totally sure what to call the bright blue highlighted border + name tag + gear icon tag, but I found it's separated from its owning panels when I resize Designer 2.

I made a viewport with center panel and east panel. Center and east's wrappers stay the same size as when the app was half-screen size and viewport's wrapper resizes as expected.

Internally, we call those films (the blue border) and the flyout (the gear icon).

Do you have a simple test case to reliably reproduce the issue?

What I just did to test was open designer at about half size of my monitor. I added a viewport with fit layout. I added a panel to the viewport. Make sure the film for the newly added My Panel is focused. Resize Designer. The film for the viewport resizes accurately. The film for My Panel resizes, but not correctly.

If there is a better way to demonstrate what I'm seeing let me know. If there is a good screen / video capture method I can use that if you want once I'm home and not on my corporate machine.
