    Default XTemplate Automatic Data Update/Binding?

Hi, I'm a long-time Flex developer who's looking at Ext and Ext GWT. A powerful feature of Flex is called binding, where a view can reference data in some other object, and when that data changes, the value is automatically updated in the view.

I've searched around for something similar for XTemplates but haven't found information on this. So thought I'd come right to the source and ask if this is possible with XTemplates?

    Thanks,

    Brian

What you're looking for is a View: http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#!/api/Ext.view.View

i agree with evan that the view is a good example, but there is more: almost every ui widget in the framework uses xtemplates that are bound to data arrays or stores.

for example: view, gridpanel & treepanel are using stores, but even the base class container has renderTpl and renderData.
