    Default Unanswered: Auto-selecting the first member of a datalist

    I have an Ext.dataview.List within an Ext.form.Panel which is bound to a data store.

    When the store first loads I want the first item in the list to be selected.

    If some other item in the list is selected and the store is re-loaded I want to return to the previously selected item in the list.

    I can catch the refresh event on the List, and the event handler gives me the dataview. It isn't clear to me where to go next.

    Does anyone know of sample code that would point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Don Rule

    The list (dataview) have a select method that you can pass a model instance, an array of model instances or an index.

    This doesn't work

    PHP Code:
        onListRefresh: function(dataviewoptions) {

    dataview.select(0);
        },
