    Question Autocomplete in combobox

    Is it possible a combobx, which fetches data from server, is able to auto-complete the user typing?
    I tried with the local store, it works well. So I think I might miss something there.

    andy idea?

    thanks.

    If you have typeAhead set to true it should start firing off server calls after 4 characters

    An example:

    Code:
    Ext.create('Ext.form.field.ComboBox', {
        emptyText: 'Colour',
        hideTrigger: true,
        minChars: 1,
        triggerAction: 'query',
        typeAhead: true,
        store: {
            fields: ['text'],
            proxy: {
                type: 'ajax',
                url: '...'
            }
        }
    });
