    Default Tap or Focus event for selectfield and using native select

    I have a selectfield that I would like to do some changes to when a user taps on it. I see the events in the API and there isn't a way to do a:

    Code:
    listeners: {
        focus: function(list, opts) {
            console.log('on tap');
        }
    }

    On a selectfield. I know there's a change event for when someone has finished making the selection.

    Also, is there a way to override the Sencha selectfield dropdown and just use the device's default (in this case, the iPad's)?

    You want a tap event to fire:

    Code:
    listeners : {
        element : 'element',
        tap : function(e, t) {...}
    }
