Graphic Designer here. Still a noob in the app world, although I am getting into graphic design for an iOS app.
I do love the idea of HTML5 web apps = no boundaries - much more nicer than the AppStore, for example.
I am looking for a link or advice to getting a Sencha Designer app on to an iPad - been searching this forum, but I am probably the noobest of all here
What brought me to discover Sencha was researching how to create an HTML5 document and make it available offline (cache.manifest) for iPads.I've seen some cool examples:
and even this one http://www.sencha.com/learn/taking-sencha-touch-apps-offline?mkt_tok=3RkMMJWWfF9wsRonu6XLZKXonjHpfsX56OslUKC0lMI%2F0ER3fOvrPUfGjI4DTdQhcOuuEwcWGog80wlWGeiU
But I am missing the part that explains how to get it to the iPAD - is the only answer to just open it on the Safari browser on the iPad?
I want to create a virtual tour on an iPad (images, videos, and most importantly audio). Think of it as an interactive museum web app.
The caveat is that there will be no WiFi/Data access at the location, so the web app needs to be loaded beforehand where there is a data connection (I assume).
This is a private endeavor, so the documentation cannot live out in the www (only on protected servers).
Can anyone help a brotha out?
