    Exclamation [4.0.7] "renderer" for datecolumn didnt get called

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.0.7

    Browser versions tested against:
    • Firefox 11 (Windows)

    Description:
    • Ext.grid.column.Date - definingt a "renderer" function has no effect

    Steps to reproduce the problem:

    create a new grid with this column:

    PHP Code:
    {

    xtype'datecolumn',

    dataIndex'date_time',

    text'Test',

    format'd.m.Y - H:i',

    renderer: function(value){
            return
    value ' FooBar';
        }

    The result that was expected:
    • 25.01.2012 - 22:30 FooBar

    The result that occurs instead:
    • 25.01.2012 - 22:30

    got it, but using "renderer" would make more sense to me

    PHP Code:
    {

    xtype'datecolumn',

    dataIndex'date_time',

    text'Test',

    format'd.m.Y - H:i \\F\\o\\o\\B\\a\\r'

    If you need to use a renderer you can't use DateColumn. All a datecolumn is, is a regular column setting a renderer...
