Default Adding summary to Grouping Header

In most of the examples the grid grouping header has only the grouped field name and the number of items grouped under the group name.

I am having to unique scenario that is similar to the below.

    Subject Score
    + Maths(3 Items) Total: 120
    John 40
    Smith 50
    Doe 30

    + English(3 Items) Total: 140
    John 50
    Smith 40
    Doe 50

From the above I am able to group by the subject and get the total count of items...Not sure how to get the total score for each subject.

Has anyone in the forum ever encountered the same.

You will need to extend the grouping feature to be able to calculate the totals.
