Default Answered: Labelable msgTarget and Custom quick tip

    Hi,

What we would like to do is to have a custom quick tip that can be used by Ext.form.Labelable so that we can customize the look of the error messages when field validation fails.

So it should be something like : Ext.form.Labelable.msgTarget = 'customTip'

    My question is :
    1. Can one create a custom quick tip to be used by Ext.form.Labelable?
    2. If yes to 1., can you supply me with some help?
From what I read on the documentation is that Labeable msgTarget uses the pre-defined values from Ext.layout.component.field.Text (a private utility class) which should not be touched.

    Regards,
    David.

  2. The tip that displays is a QuickTip that is actually global and the text that gets displayed in that is from the data-errorqtip attribute on the errorEl element.
