    Hi

I am working on small application in which I am fetching 1000 records from server through Ajax and after fetching, I am populating those 1000 records in a ext js grid. On hitting the request to server I get the response in 1 sec however, data rendering in grid takes around 7- 8 secs. Is there any perormance issue in UI components or UI side?

  2. Which browser are you using?

With that many records, you may want to consider paging or buffered grid.

    Regard,
    Scott.

I also have the same issue. When am trying to load 2000 records into grid it is taking lot of time. To resolve this I used pagination with page size of 50.

    Thanks Scott for your reply...

I am using the Mozilla Firefox vesion 11. I haven't tried the pagination or buffered grid yet.

I will try and let you know the results.
