(GXT 3.0.0 GA) Vertical Axis Labels Overlaid When Chart First Rendered
Version of Ext GWT
This problem occurs in the recently released GA version of Ext GWT 3.0.0.
Internet Explorer 8
Windows 7 64 bit
Dell Precision M4500
8 CPUs – Intel Core i7
8 GB Memory
When a chart is first rendered, the vertical axis labels are overlaid by the chart itself.
The problem goes away when the browser window is resized horizontally.
Occurs in when deployed to Tomcat (web mode), and when running under Eclipse (dev mode).
Steps to Reproduce
The attached file (ColumnChartVerticalAxisLabelIssue.txt) can be used to demonstrate the problem.
After launching the chart, observe that the vertical axis labels are overlaid by the chart itself. The attached screen shot (ColumnChartVerticalAxisLabelIssue.png) shows an example of this problem as well.
Resize the browser window horizontally and the problem goes away.
Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong in the code in the attached file or if there is a work around.
This appears to have been fixed along with the label alignment changes I made in your previous thread:
GXT 3.0.1 has been released and contains this fix.
