Question ExtJS Forms - Direct or Store / Proxy?

I'm new to ExtJS and ExtDirect and had a general question about the best approach for binding Forms / Grids to the server side.

I know that there are prescribed ways of integrating a Form to ExtDirect directly (through the api configuration of the BasicForm) but if I have a model and store defined for objects, is it better to use non-Form specific ExtDirect calls to get and save records into the Model and then use have the Form load / update records through a Proxy that uses ExtDirect?

    Thanks,
    Gary

    gmui,

I would go the second way, if only to have an interface that is not bind to a form and can be reused in different part of the application.

Thanks for the reply. We pretty much decided the same thing.
