    Default Submitted forms handled by php?

    I'm new to ExtJS and I've spent hours searching the forum to solve this:

    right now, I'm using the php-framework CodeIgniter. Essentially, working with forms happens like this:

    (pseudocode)
    PHP Code:
    if ( ! $validated )
    {

    //show form
    }
    else
    {

    //process results, show eg message.php

    I'm not working with JSON of whatsoever.

    Is it possible to "build" the form with ExtJS and let it act like a plain, old form? I mean: when you click the Submit-button, the PHP-script (like in the old "action"-property of forms) does the rest?

    Thanks,

    Hi -

    Of course it is possible. I think, if you try to describe the reason why it shouldn't be possible, the problem solves itself.
