Default How to make a drop down appear on click

Just looking at the Line Chart example, when we click on a data point, a notification flies out giving some sort of information. Is it possible to make a drop down box appear instead (with interactive controls), and if so, how do I make it?

Use the interactions config to get the tap. Look at the examples, there are a few that do this.

I looked through the examples, and none of them do explicitly what I am looking for. I really need to be able to create a dropdown window appear on click. When I click a certain point on the graph, I need a dropdown box to appear allowing for different controls of the graph. The interactions config doesn't seem to offer a solution.
