    Default sencha touch and ie10

My ST2 app runs great on Chrome and Safari. I installed the Window 8 Release Preview, fired up the IE 10 browser and pointed it at my ST2 app. I got a white page and an '[Ext.getBody] document.body does not exist at this point' error in sencha-touch-all.js.

I want to add my voice to those who want Sencha Touch to run on IE 10. Perhaps previous versions of IE were a bad environment for HTML5 apps but Sencha itself now acknowledges that IE 10 is a great HTML5 browser:

I want to know if Sencha plans to port Touch to IE 10 and if so, when.

Maybe you should add voice to Microsoft for eventually really implementing html5 standards

I would say ST is a WebKit-based framework more than a HTML5 framework. It relies heavily on WebKit CSS for layouts and other styling. Also, ST is a mobile framework, and while it runs in desktop Chrome and Safari, their target is mobile devices.

IE10 is looking a lot better but still has it's flaws. We are always looking at other platforms to support but other than iOS and Android the others aren't very well used yet (Windows Phone 8 isn't out, BlackBerry devices are crap, browser isn't half bad tho). B2G isn't out either, WebOS is closed and Enyo isn't anywhere yet. Just my opinion tho...

Default Desktop IE 10 will be on Windows Phone 8

I tried my ST2 app on desktop IE 10 because Windows Phone 8 will run the same IE 10. I know that Windows Phone 8 is not out yet, but if Sencha gets ST2 running on desktop IE 10, it will run on Window Phone 8 as well.
