    Firefox is not released yet. At this point, we are not spending time to test/resolve issues in an unstable product.

    This has been reported as a bug in Firefox 3 (see bugzilla entry).

    I know it's no fun to think about optimizing for a moving target, but frankly, this is unacceptable. We need the framework to support these browsers the moment they're released. Meet the browser makers half way -- they're releasing betas specifically so that people can play with them, find things that are wrong, and also prepare their own applications for the release of the final product in advance. There should be at least some effort dedicated to supporting the new browsers as they're almost totally stable and nearly moments away from being out the door. Safari 3 is already out of beta, and included by default with all modern mac systems. Anyone running OS X 10.4 or higher that runs their updates will be using Safari 3.

    The application I'm working on for my client right now ONLY works acceptably in Safari 3 (in spite of some minor rendering glytches) -- Firefox 2 is WAY too slow, I.E. (6 & 7) is broken, and Firefox 3 isn't supported by Ext 2 -- lots of rendering problems.

    Try:

    Code:
    .ext-gecko table.x-date-inner{table-layout:auto;}
    (untested, I'm not loosing all my FF2 cookies again by installing FF3b)
