    Default Package scripts without using sencha build tools

    I try to merg script using ant, however keep getting bunch of script not found errors as the sencha script tries to fetch individual files even though the files are already loaded...

    Is there a good way to build the app script without using the build tools? We do it very well with ExtJS 3.4 , however the touch version does not lend itself well.

    What's wrong with using the build tools like Sencha Command which is a end to end solution really.

    I too would prefer using the build tool if it works, however after following the instructions on the sencha web site, I try to generate jsb3 and the tool remains stuck infinitely with no error message. I see in processes that phantomjs is running, however process never ends.

    this is the command

    sencha create jsb -a index.html -p app.jsb3

    Any pointers will be helpful...

    I enjoy using Sencha Command for an end-to-end solution: http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2-0/#!/guide/command

    Good.

    I tried sencha app build production and the tool printed following error message

    "...
    [ERROR] TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object
    Stack trace:
    : 49 : apam.view.UserNameLabel#updateHtmlText
    ....
    "

    updateHtmlText: function() {
    var currentuserinfostore = Ext.data.StoreManager.lookup('currentuserinfostore');

    if(currentuserinfostore) {
    var currentuserinfo = currentuserinfostore.getAt(0);

    var userDisplayName = currentuserinfo.get('DISPLAYNAME');

    this.setHtml(userDisplayName);
    }
    }

    LINE 49 is var userDisplayName = currentuserinfo.get('DISPLAYNAME');

    So, I commented out

    var userDisplayName = currentuserinfo.get('DISPLAYNAME');

    this.setHtml(userDisplayName);

    and executed the same command again with success.

    I try to see if the application at least loads. Above lines only affect a label text.

    The UI did load successfully however no events are being fired, i.e. scroll, itemtap etc do not work.

    Any pointers will help...
