My boss would buy the Eclipse plugin right now if it were standalone.
Another vote here for an Eclipse/Aptana Standalone plugin
Im evalauting sencha architect.
A big problem I hit is the lack of documentation/examples. Most of the examples relate to older version of the software, e.g. in an action column handler, architect gives me
handler: function (view, rowIndex, colIndex, item, e)
but i've no idea how to use these objects to e.g. remove a line/trigger a line/jump to a pop up box/trigger a jsp/php page etc.
An eclipse plugin that triggers the available methods when you type the object followed by a dot (like java) would be tremendous.
Otherwise, as Basil Fawlty would say if you don't like duck...
you're rather stuck!
I vote for a standalone version of the eclipse plugin as well.
I am as well clearly in favour of a standalone product of the Eclipse plugin.
Once it's out for a reasonable price justifying open source developments, I would even pay for it.
Apart from that, of course it would be fantastic to offer the plugin under the same license as the Open Source version of ExtJS (GNU GPL license v3) since I do not plan to develop commercial applications![]()
+1 for standalone version
+1 for standalone ...
any new on this?
The initial link isn't working. Is there a working link? I'd like to have a look at this plugin in order to decide if we wanna introduce it into our company.
