Default Unanswered: Tips Requested to Improve My App's Android Performance (Web Preview)

    Hi there,

My app lags and is occasionally unresponsive in two environments: Android's web preview, and packaged as a native Android App via the Phonegap Build service.

Does anyone have any tips as to how I could improve its performance?

Maybe describe what is going on in your app when it becomes unresponsive instead of having people hunt around your app. Most likely, people won't do your job for you but I am more than willing to give suggestions on what could be going on if I had more info.

I think the transitions between tabs are a bit excessive. Instead of fading out and in, just try fading in to the new tab, or playing around with other transitions.

The Instagram pictures could also lead to slow performance (when scrolling/etc) on lower-end devices. Maybe limit the amount of pictures and have a list with multiple pages (or scroll to the bottom to load more).
