Default Labels or "axe" for gauge charts

    Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to have some labelling on a gauge chart. Seems that it was possible to do it with version 1.0, but I can find a way to achieve the same. And the demo in the kitchen sink application that comes with 2.1-rc2, does not show any labels...

Is this still something that needs to be implemented or am I missing something?

    Cheers

    Nicolas

I do not see code in for the gauge to handle labels.

Yes, that's what I concluded to when digging a bit further in the code... But this feature was available in the version 1.0 (check the demos at http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch-c...xamples/Gauge/ for example) and I believe also in the old sencha touch chart 2.0 beta (when it was not integrated...)...

There was an axis "gauge" that has been completely removed. Any plan to have it back?

    Hi nclemeur,

I came across the same problem as you did. I think the gauge charts are completely useless without axis. I don't know how to indicate what value my gauge chart is now exactly showing without an axis.
Is there still no "workaround" or something for this issue?

Well, I don't think that has been fix and that was a good reason enough to completely remove any sencha generated chart from my application. And I agree, I don't understand how you could use gauges without axes... Sorry to no be of any help

    Any solution for this?

As u have already told, gauge is useless without axes.....

I was searching but I have found only ExtJs 4 very nice gauges, unfortunately, not available in Touch 2....

Anyone get an update from Sencha on why they removed this, or a work around to make gauges useful again like they were in 1.0? http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch-charts-1.0.0/examples/Gauge/

We just upgraded to Sencha Complete, and mainly did so to include gauges in our product. As everyone has mentioned it seems like they are useless now.

    Pretty upset about this.

I'm wondering about exactly this same issue.

I tried to "hack" code from Sencha Charts 2.0 Beta into Sencha Touch 2.2. That didn't really work out that well.

If anyone can provide more information, I'd love to hear about that. Ext JS still supports this feature.
