Default Is it possible to have column filters on an html-based table using TransformGrid?

We have a html-based table converted to the sencha extjs grid using the TransformGrid.js. (source taken from the examples). We would like to add filtering to the columns (i.e., selected the dropdown menu on each column's header to select filtering criteria).

However, it seems like the column filtering feature only works if the columns has a dataIndex that matches the store's model. But since the html-based table approach doesn't require a store, this doesn't seem to be possible.

Is there a generic way to add the filtering to the columns of an html-based table automatically?

    thanks

I don't see why not, the TransformGrid still uses a store, just gets the data for the store from the DOM.
