    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-8095 in 4.2.3.

    Default [4.2 beta] animCollapse animation in milliseconds not working

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.1.1
    • Ext 4.1.3
    • Ext 4.2 beta

    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome

    DOCTYPE tested against:
    • strict

    Description:
    • The API description for Ext.panel.Panel says animCollapse's value can be boolean or "May also be specified as the animation duration in milliseconds." Boolean works, but passing in a number for animation in ms does not work.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • foo
    • bar

    The result that was expected:
    [LIST][*] Setting the animCollapse value to a number of milliseconds should expand collapse the panel for that duration/LIST]

    The result that occurs instead:
    • The panel collapses/expands as if true were passed.

    Test Case:

    Code:
    Ext.create('Ext.panel.Panel', {
        title: 'Hello',
        animCollapse: 10000,
        collapsible: true,
        width: 200,
        html: '<p>World!</p>',
        renderTo: Ext.getBody()
    });

    HELPFUL INFORMATION

    Additional CSS used:
    • only default ext-all.css

    Operating System:
    • OSX
