Looks like we can't reproduce the issue or there's a problem in the test case provided.

Default [4.2.0 beta 2] Grid header HeaderClick regress since Ext 3

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:

    • Ext 4.2.0 beta 2

    Browser versions tested against:
    • Any

    DOCTYPE tested against:
    • Any

    Description:
    • In Ext 3 returning false from a GridPanel's headerclick event prevents sorting (because sorting is performed in another internal headerclick listener). The design has been changed in Ext 4 and now there is no a built-in possibility to get sorting items in the header menu, but disable sorting on header click.
    • Maybe, it is rather a feature request. But sometime a regress in functionality is considered as a bug. So, I posted it here.

    Test Case:

    • Please tell if you really need any test case here.

    Hello!

This bug looks as an old one. Is it possible to say when it'll be fixed?
