    Default [4.1.1a] Local Paging Proxy

    Hi,

There are many examples and many different solutions, using PagingMemory or others, but none of them provide a simple solution to a simple problem: local paging of remote data.

Can someone share a working example in ExtJS 4.1 of a local paging for remote data?

Basically the data is retrieved from a distant service once, via a normal ajax call, and returns thousands of records.
Now how to display locally these records into a grid with pages of say 10 records?

The grid still needs to be able to refresh the data (reload from the distant website the complete data), but do not communicate with the distant website when changing pages.

    Thanks,

    $p00ky

You could just filter the store. Just get the index of the record and determine if it's between the start and start + limit.

But that would reload the data from the server at each new page, and then filter the store to show only the elements of the current page when the Ajax call returns the data.
Is there a simple way to just filter the current store data rather than reloading the store and then filtering the page? (other than listening the click events on the buttons)
