Default Answered: Question about pie chart labels.

    Hi everyone.

It would be very useful for me to have the ability to create line annotations with the labels that exist in the Sencha Touch 2.1 pie charts. Is this something I have access to in ExtJS 4.1? I have attached a photo of what I am describing.

If this is not possible, may I ask when this functionality will be available in ExtJS 4.1? It is frustrating that the charting tools have differences across libraries.

  2. Doing a quick search of our bug system I do not see a feature request for something like this. I would invite you to open a thread in the bugs forum and I can push in as a feature request but I'm not sure what priority this would be given.

Testing in 4.2.0.489, the labels will be within each slice and not outside with a line connecting the label and the slice.

    Thanks Mitchell.

Is this a feature that will be added at some point? Using a pie chart with a lot of data and labels with small slices can get very jumbled. This makes it very hard to use. We are trying to avoid overlapping text. It is a shame this exists in Touch but not ExtJS.
