Default Local file edits are not being detected by Architect

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Architect Build tested:

    • Build: 894
    Project Type:
    • ExtJS 4.1.0
    Description:
    • While Architect is running, in a terminal window I sync code down from my repo, and mark the files for edit (perforce). Architect does not sense the change to the local file.
    • While Architect is running and is in the foreground, I ssh into my machine from another computer and edit a controller in the metadata directory. Architect does sense the change, but when I select the button to 'reload from local disk' I do not see the changes.
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Open Architect
    • Sync / or make changes to the controller currently being viewed in Architect
    The result that was expected:
    • Architect warns me that the file has changed
    • Architect reloads from disk when that option is selected
    The result that occurs instead:
    • I do not see the changes in Architect
    HELPFUL INFORMATION

    Screenshot, Project, or Video:

    • attached
    Possible fix:
    • Properly detect changes locally, regardless if Architect is in the foreground or not
    • Properly load any changes from the local disk when requested
    Operating System:
    • Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x64

I am seeing an issue where it's missing the 1st file changed.

Alter 2 files and only 1 is noticed.

Alter 3 files and only 2 are noticed.

Clearly a bug and has been reported to Desktop packager team.
