Sencha Architect 2.x: Bugs /
Design View Bug: 2.2 Cannot read property 'buffered' of undefined.
Architect Build tested: Project Type: ExtJS 4.1.1a
Description: Our project is getting the above mentioned error when going to the design view on views with components bound to store's or other views.
If we go through and click on every class to make sure it loads, the error disappears and everything works as expected.
Steps to reproduce the problem: Open Large Project with a view that has Linked Views/stores
Try and open view in design view
The result that was expected: View Displayed in Design View
The result that occurs instead: Error: "Cannot read property 'buffered' of undefined."
Screenshot, Project, or Video: Possible fix: Hope this can be fixed soon, as this is a huge productivity sink. Operating System:
Sounds like our dependency calculation is not accounting for a particular store to be loaded that your view requires.
Are you using associations? What type of component is the store bound to? Do you have a sample project that we could see this problem with?
Same project I sent to you for Upgrade issues last week. after upgrading you should see the issue on Most of the views.
Know the code in the project is a bit ugly, We as a company are still learning the in's and outs of the ExtJS framework
There's a small handful of associations. and I think in most cases there bound to grids and combo-boxes.
Thanks, we're looking into this right away.
When's the fix going to be released?
I need this fix ASAP too. Quite annoying...
This should be in build 908.
Have you still encountered this bug in the current build? If so could you please provide us a project or steps to reproduce?
Thanks, it's fixed in 908.
Can we please also indicate the build number of SA on its download page so that people like me can see what they are downloading? Or do we have to subscribe somewhere to get notified of new build?
I think this is a great idea. Unfortunately it would make it so that we'd have to involve our marketing department each time we put out a release (as they control those pages). I'll see what we can do internally. Thanks
