Thread: TreeStore setProxy method doesn't return the proxy object

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-9201 in a recent build.

    Default TreeStore setProxy method doesn't return the proxy object

    Affects all Ext 4.x versions till Ext 4.2.0

    The setProxy method on every type of store returns the proxy instance. It's also documented that the setProxy method will return a proxy instance.

    http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-2/#!...ethod-setProxy

    However there is no return in the setProxy method.

    http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-2/so...ethod-setProxy

    Suggested fix:
    For versions <= Ext 4.2.0 -> update duckumentation
    For future versions -> Add following line at the bottom of the method to make it consistent.
    Code:
    return me.proxy;
    It's a small one but made me looking for a while... Cheers!
