Thread: Problem with Action Column in Ext-Js 4.2

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-9288 in a recent build.

    Also experiencing the same issue, tried the posted workaround but it doesn't work. Anyone else having any more luck with a working temporary fix?

    I added listeners to the grid. Either the select listener or the beforerowselect listener did it for me.

    PHP Code:
    listeners: {

    select:  function() {

    console.log('select');
            return
    false
        },

    beforerowselect : function() {

    console.log('cellclick');
            return
    false;
        }
    },

    Ooops, Sorry! Scratch that. Here is the listener that fixed my issue.
    PHP Code:
    cellclick : function(viewcellcellIndexrecordrowrowIndexe) {

    //e.stopPropagation();

    console.log('cellclick');
        return
    false;

    Thanks for the code, that works around the issue! Hope there will be a more permanent fix later though.

    You can eventually in waiting, as the row is selected, call a beforeselect event where you make a "return false" but just when the column index corresponds to the action column item index. So, by clicking your icon the row wont't be selected. Of course this is just a temporary way

    Same problem here. The correct workaround however is

    Code:
        beforecellclick: function(view, td, cellIndex) {
            if (cellIndex > 0) return false;
        }
    where you check the cellIndex for whatever columns you need.
