    Default Build Failing - Java heap space

    Hi guys,

    When I run the command 'sencha package build' it fails when it starts slicing images. I receive the following error:

    BUILD FAILED
    com.sencha.exceptions.BasicException: Java heap space

    I have changed the the Java Runtime Enviroment to -Xmx3072m to allocate 3 Gigs of space. However when I edit the following line of code in the sencha.cfg:

    cmd.jvm.args=-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -Djava.awt.headless=true

    to

    cmd.jvm.args=-Xms1024m -Xmx3072m -Djava.awt.headless=true

    I receive this error when trying to build:

    Error occurred during initialization of VM. Could not reserve enough space for object heap.

    Any ideas???

    Cheers

    Is your OS 32 or 64 bits?

    If former, you can't allocate more than ~1.5G java heap.

    With 64 bit jvm?

    Chances are that you have 32 bit jvm...

    We have greatly improved some of the internals here in Cmd 3.1.2 - we had issues with multiple loading of the same code and that would exhaust the heap much more quickly than it should.

    I just upgraded to Sencha Cmd v3.1.2.342 and when I run "sencha package build", I still receive the following exception:

    [INF] Capture complete
    [INF] [echo] Slicing theme images to C:\Documents and Settings\User\Documents\Projects\Apps\Workspace\packages\common/build/resources
    [WRN] Package common has unrecognized type ${args.type}

    [ERR] com.sencha.exceptions.BasicException: com.sencha.exceptions.BasicException: Java heap space

    I ran "sencha package upgrade" as well to eliminate any anomalies.

    I created the package with these options:
    sencha generate package -type code common

    Thanks
