Unanswered: Does sencha.io channel supports offline msging?
I'm trying to make a msg massenger app.
I tried sencha.io channel app and it works.
The question i have is that this only runs when i run with the browser.
it is just an mobile web application right now.
How can i get a push notifycation, if the device is offline?
I can assume that i have to do client-side android programming.
But what i'm confusing is, if i do android programming, i think i don't have to use sencha.io channel services
Google has it own services, GCM.
I'm a little confused where to start

Our messaging system does not support push notifications at this time.
When the application is offline the messages are stored on the server and delivered the next time the application connects.
If you need push notifications you will need to have a native packaged app and use the platform specific apis to send those messages. You can also use aggregators to do cross platform push notification.
