You can take a look at TTG_Slider or TouchTreeGrid_Advanced_22 project folders downloaded from
    https://github.com/swluken/TouchTreeGrid

    TouchTreeGrid-Documentation.pdf has section on this:
"Lists => Dynamic (Same as Horiz but defined dynamically from Server)"

In this example I am loading from json file, but the URL will work for PHP. I'm also loading columns and fields for dynamic store all in the same AJAX call, but you can update for your basic list needs and load an existing store created on the client.

Specifically look at loadDynamicStore() method within CommonController.js

Here are a couple other repositories that helped me out in the beginning with this:
    https://github.com/loiane/extjs4-crud-mvc-architect
    https://github.com/ErnestoR/Extjs4_PHP_MySQL

    Regards,
    Steve
