    Default [4.2.1]QuickTip: dismissDelay: 0 defaulting to 5000

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.2.1 rev 883
    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome Version 29.0.1547.62 m
    • FF22.0
    DOCTYPE tested against:
    • <!DOCTYPE HTML>
    Description:
    • When setting dismissDelay: 0 in the config of a quicktip, the default 5000 delay is taken instead. A dismissDelay: 1, or anything not equating to false, config value is taken and applied properly.
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Create any element with a quicktip that has a dismissDelay of 0
    The result that was expected:
    • Quicktip shouldn't disappear while element is being hovered over
    The result that occurs instead:
    • Quicktip disappears after 5 seconds
    Test Case:
    Code:
    Ext.define('Eden.view.Test', {
        extend: 'Ext.form.Panel',
        items: [
             {            xtype: 'textfield',
                name: 'username',
                fieldLabel: 'Username',
                allowBlank: false,
                emptyText: 'Required',
                minLength: 8,
                maxLength: 50,
                validateOnChange: true,
                listeners: {
                    afterrender: {
                        fn: function(field, eventOpts) {

                            Ext.tip.QuickTipManager.register({
                                target: field.getId(),
                                dismissDelay: 0,
                                text: 'This is only a test'
                            });
                        }
                    }
                }

    Thanks for the report. This issue has been added to our bug tracker. While it is similar to the other bug that LesJ mentioned, it is it's own issue. The other issue has already been fixed in the latest nightly and should be released with 4.2.2. This new issue still occurs and should be addressed soon.
