Default Unanswered: How do you show numeric gauge labels?

In the example Touch Charts app it shows numeric labels around the gauge, which is really useful in telling the gauge's value: http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch-charts-1.0.0/examples/Gauge/

    I
looked though the code in Sencha 2.2, but can't find an example of how to do this. Can someone share an example of how this is done?

It's almost like this feature was removed, but without any sort of replacement or reason given. Unfortunately gauges are almost useless without some indicator showing the numbers along it. Can you imagine a speedometer in a car without any numbers around it?

Really would like to know whats going on with this feature please.

There is an existing feature request for this functionality TOUCH-3590.
In the meantime you could use sectors or renders
    http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2.2.1/#...ge-cfg-sectors
    http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2.2.1/#...s-cfg-renderer
    Example using renderers:
