    Default Answered: How to place a floating panel in the bottom

    Hi all,
    I want a panel that will show itself on the bottom and will be used as an error panel in case I want to show some error.

    ideas?

  2. You could use this:
    Code:
    Ext.Viewport.add({
        xtype: 'container',
        itemId: 'errorPanel',
        hidden: true,
        docked: 'bottom',
        z-index: 7,
        html: 'In case of emergency'
    });

    Default not good enough

    This is not within the view port.
    I want something floatable that I can float it in the bottom of the screen.

    You could use an actionsheet instead.

    So you want a bottom panel inside a floating panel?
    Still you could use my first example. Simply do not add it to Ext.Viewport, but to your own floating panel.

    if you read my first solution. This will do the trick (though you need to add it as a first thing to the viewport so that docked: 'bottom' shows it at the bottom (you might want to read more about layouts in Sencha).

    The second possibility is to go with actionssheets. These are usually at the bottom and you can add them directly to the viewport.

    Both will work, though the seconds should be added when needed. If you have an error class this will work perfectly
