    Default Removing row breaks rowBodyTpl expansion

    Removing row breaks rowBodyTpl expansion

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.2.1.883
    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome 29.0.1547.76
    • FF 18.0.2
    Description:
    • After removing a row from the grid's store, the rows shift but the buttons to expand do not seem to. That results in the expand button opening a row that below the one that the button is next to.
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Create grid panel using rowBodyTpl plugin
    • Remove a row from the data store {store.remove(store.getById(id))}
    • Expand any row below the one that was removed
    The result that was expected:
    • Row next to expand button to open
    The result that occurs instead:
    • The row that's x entries below the expand button opens (where x is the number of rows removed from the store thus far)

    Sounds like a bug, but there have been numerous fixes recently with regards to row indexes. Can you please post a test case that reproduces the problem? I can test against the latest nightly and file a bug if needed. Thanks.

    Looks like this is a known issue. This bug seems actually to be the same problem with the rowexpander, and another bug (EXTJSIV-11389) seems to match your description even more closely. The issue is currently scheduled to be fixed as part of 4.2.3.
