Unanswered: Will it be possible to write extensions/plugins for SA itself?
Will it be possible to write extensions or plugins for SA itself? If I understand correctly (please correct me if not), the user extensions that we can write for SA are essentially custom view classes that can be added to the canvas of the application being developed, but they can't modify anything in SA itself?
For example, I like to move as much business logic as possible into testable service classes in app/service/ (parallel to app/controller/, app/model, etc.). Right now, it's possible to add and edit them as JS Resources, but then they're all just listed on the bottom as arbitrary .js files. I'd love to have a Services folder in the Project Inspector, at the same level as Controllers, Models, and Views.
Another thing I'd love to add to SA is some support for DeftJS's dependency injection and view controllers.
I'm guessing there's no way that I can implement that myself as some kind of add-on?

My understanding is that the plugins are packages so you can bundle model/view/store/controller/resources with them.
