    Default app.json javascript files cannot be included.

    Is this fixed now?
    in my app.json i have
    {
    "name": "MyApp",
    "requires": [
    ],
    "js": [
    {"path": "resources\Login.js"}
    ],
    "css": [
    ],
    "id": "38f948d0-b711-4c60-aaff-9eebdd233df9"
    }
    Sencha app build testing generates
    [ERR] BUILD FAILED
    [ERR] com.sencha.exceptions.ExBuild: Mixed-Mode x-compile and microload markup i
    s currently unsupported

    I'm hitting the same issue. I'm using Sencha Cmd 4.0.1 on a Sencha ExtJs 4.2.1 codebase. I have an additional css file I want to load on top of the default theme. I've edited my app.json file to include the following:

    Code:
        "css": [
            {
                "path": "resources/override.css"
            }
        ]
    When I do this, I get the Mixed-Mode... exception as well. I can finish a build successfully when I take this out.

    How are we developers supposed to include external css files in our build processes? Is there another way that I'm missing?

    if you need to add things to app.json, you need to move everything from the x-compile section of index.html to app.json as well, then get rid of x-compile from index.html.

    I believe you can use 1 method or the other.

    Sencha Cmd v4.0.1.45

    app.json
    PHP Code:
    {

    "name""Sencha_Cmd_Test",

    "requires": [
        ]

    app.js
    PHP Code:
    Ext.application({

    name'Sencha_Cmd_Test',

    extend'Sencha_Cmd_Test.Application',

    autoCreateViewporttrue
    });
    index.html
    HTML Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html>
      <head>
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
        <title>Standalone example for ExtJs 4</title>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="ext/bootstrap.js"></script>
        <script type='text/javascript' src="./app.js"></script>
      </head>
      <body id="docbody">
    </body></html>
    I have no experience in using Sencha Cmd and I am a bit clueless with this error message.

    Again if you want to put things in your app.json then you need to go all in. This means you cannot have any x-compile, x-bootstrap directives in your index.html file.

    You can either use index.html to include files or app.json but not both.

    Could you explain what one has to do exactly in the Architect in order for this error not to happen? We never touched our app.json or index.html file by hand, so it was the architect that messed that up, which makes it unclear how to avoid this.

    I found out that it is because of a css resource. When I add a css resource:
    1. There is no `x-compile` or `x-bootstrap` property like in a js resource
    2. It adds a line to index.html (not in x-compile though)
    3. It adds an item to the resources array in `app.json` which break `sencha app build` when there are js-resources
    So Sencha Architect seems to deliberately break the build process with sencha cmd when mixing js and css resources. Is there any reasonable approach to work with this?
