No, this is the first public Beta. What I am hearing is, they hope to be done in 4 to 6 weeks.

To be clear, I am NOT a Sencha spokes person, just another list dweller that is paying for support.
I am not a Sencha employee or contractor.

Sencha have NOT comitted to ANY time frame other than when the code is ready.
That being said, I think we are very close. At least I am praying they are. My project is
dependent on Sencha shipping the 3.1 release.

Thanks margozzi, we are indeed aiming for a final release within 6-8 after the beta. We've got the issues that we internally know about from our own testing and we've gotten new cases already from sharing this beta, and are working to resolve these in a timely way. It is never our intention to drag this stuff out - we're pushed back as far as we are from the delayed GWT 2.6 release. With that out of the way, there are no external blockers for GXT 3.1, so we're just working to file and fix issues, continue regression testing, and get this out the door as soon as reasonably possible.

As happy as we are with the results of the GXT 3.1 beta, both the Theme Builder and the Neptune theme, we're even more excited at the prospect of finishing the release and moving on to GXT 4...

Are you seeing this in your own code or on the example site? If you are seeing it in your own code with Gxt 3.1, you should post it in the bugs forum:

I've just tested this in firefox, chrome, and ie8 - the closest I get to a bug is in IE8 where the headers shrink by about 1px the first time you hover over them - we'll look into this. But I'm not yet able to reproduce the issue you are describing.

Can you detail the browser, OS, any plugins in that browser, and the exact steps you are following? We'd like to fix this, but it seems to be very specific to you, as none of us yet can see it.

My steps to reproduce: visit http://www.sencha.com/examples/#ExamplePlace:basicgrid, hover the mouse over each column header, going over it and out to the side, to the top, to the bottom, then clicking on each and repeating the process. At no time in doing this am I seeing any sizes change (except in IE8, the very first time the mouse goes over the headers, which isn't the case you are describing).

it seems the problem is only present on firefox 25.

Thanks - that details was added finally in one of the many threads on this issue, and I think we have resolved it in the nightly builds - compare the beta at http://www.sencha.com/examples/#ExamplePlace:basicgrid with the nightly build at http://qa.sencha.com:8080/examples-d...lace:basicgrid
