Parallax in Sencha Touch
I recently started a blog focused primarily on Sencha Touch development. My first post is achieving a parallax effect with an image and a list.
The post has an explanation, a live example and a link to my github account where you can download the source. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Really nice work - and as a huge fan of the Captain, I appreciate the reference :-)

fmoseley - Thanks and thank you for moving the thread. Soon after I posted I realized I was in the wrong forum, and then felt too sheepish to ask for it to be moved.
stevenbrent - Thanks! I figured there wasn't enough Beefheart in blogs about mobile development.

I was just searching for an parallax effect.
It is nearly the same nice effect as used in the Sencha Con app.
Just a hint!
If you use image property "mode: image" or anything else than background (default) the image will stretch to 100% as expected.
Thanks for saving me some time to find such an effect.
