Thread: Date picker for locale DE strange characters

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTGWT-3705 in 3.1.1.

Thanks, we're seeing this in all locales with the classic blue/gray themes - filed as http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthre...s-in-DateField

It's not a locale depending issue. To reproduce do the following:
    - go to http://www.sencha.com/examples/#Exam...e:formsexample
    - open the datepicker at "Birthday" field
    - click the header "March 2014" to open Month/Year picker
    - choose some month/year
    - click "ok"

    What's happening: datepicker closes! bug!
What should happen: datepicker lets u select a day of your chosen month.

If think that's what kozla13 discovered.

I have updated the ticket to include the issue with the month picker ok button. This has been repaired internally and will be available in the next release.

@Justin, are you saying that both issues have been fixed, i.e. strange characters around the OK label AND the fact that the month/year change is not taken into account in the date value?

@ccureau I know for sure the behavior issue was fixed, though I'm less certain about the improperly encoded characters across locales. We just released GXT 3.1.0 this morning - can you verify that one or both of these have been resolved?

    Hi,

The characters issue is still there in the 3.1.0 release.

Looks like some of the messages files weren't updated in fixing this. They are getting fixed right now.

Any news on this one? When will the fix be released? Is there a workaround?
