    Default Answered: Declarative xml views

From watching the SenchaCon videos, I remember one thing that was mentioned as a possibility for the future was having declarative views in xml as opposed to doing the entire layout in json. Just wondering if this was still on the table for Ext JS 5 as I didn't see it mentioned as a new feature in the beta.

    To add my 2 cents...

This was one of the top features we were hoping for. After seeing the Fastbook demo, and having used the MVVM implementation for a few months now... it's clear that we can just about write 100% declarative JSON views.

XML is a significantly better format for layouts than JSON (as we saw in the Fastbook demo).

I really hope this is in the plans for some point in the future.
