What causes 4.2.1 to be slower than 4.1.1 at hiding grid columns? Example included.

Run this fiddle in 4.2.1 and it takes between 10-12 seconds to hide 99 columns. If you run this same code in 4.1.1 it takes 2-3 seconds to hide the 99 columns. What causes this discrepancy? Is there something I can add which will speed up the 4.2.1 hiding?

I see the behavior in 4.2.1, but using the latest nightly release of 4.2.3, your test case loads right away.

Thanks for trying it in 4.2.3. I'll have to see if we can find a work around in the meantime.
